TranGuard Systems LLC Criminal Subpoena Policy

TranGuard’s Privacy Policy prohibits, without express permission from the customer, the release of any customer or account information except when required by law, in order to conform to the edicts of the law, or in order to comply with legal process properly served on TranGuard or an affiliate.

If you seek the identity or account information of a TranGuard customer in connection with a criminal matter, and you are a member of the law enforcement community, provide TranGuard Systems LLC with a valid subpoena.

Submitting Subpoenas

TranGuard is based in Maryland. All subpoenas should be delivered attention the Compliance Department, to: TranGuard Systems, 10421 Motor City Dr, #34101, Bethesda, MD 20817.

Policies Regarding Email

TranGuard will not produce the content of e-mail, as the Electronic Communications Privacy Act, 18 U.S.C. §2701 et seq., prohibits an electronic communications service provider from producing the contents of electronic communications, even pursuant to subpoena or court order, except in limited circumstances. TranGuard’s e-mail servers do not retain deleted or sent e-mail.

TranGuard reserves the right to request a copy of the complaint and any supporting documentation that demonstrates how a TranGuard-hosted e-mail address is related to the pending investigation and the underlying subpoena.
